President: Harriett Whitaker

Harriett Whitaker has worked as a journalist, a public relations director and a real estate broker, in addition to the time she's devoted to several nonprofit organizations. She has served as president of the Madisonville-Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce since September 2007, and is an active member of American Chamber of Commerce Executives and Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives. She holds a bachelor's degree in American Studies from Oberlin College, and a master's in communications from the University of Kentucky.
